The difference between damselflies and dragonflies are damselflies have four wings that are very near equal size of each and are more lightweight to dragonflies. Their eyes are separate and never touch. Damselflies are found on and near the water's edge. Dragonflies are heavier, their eyes are very large and usually touch each other.
